4 Seas International Shipping is specialized in shipping cars from the U.S. to any destination across the globe and they distinguish between Container and Ro/Ro service.
“Most customers prefer this option when it comes to the transportation of classic, antique or high value vehicles. It also allows the shipper to leave personal effects, car parts or any other items in the car at no extra charge” said Yasmin Stover, Vice President of 4 Seas International.
Professional warehouse personnel securely block, brace and tie down the vehicles to prevent them from moving during transportation. Vehicles such as trucks, buses, campers and self-propelled agricultural equipment do not fit into containers and have to be shipped Ro/Ro . They are driven onto the vessel and stored below deck to prevent exposure from the elements. Jens Boerner, Logistics Manager at 4 Seas International Shipping adds “this service does not allow anything inside the vehicles except for one car jack and one spare tire”.
International Freight Forwarder specialized in RO/RO, FCL and LCL shipments from the U.S. to worldwide destination. Established in 1997 with focus on special needs cargo such as vehicles, household goods and boats.
