ZEN DOG World Premiere at Raindance Film Festival

September 20, 2016 ( datsyn.com) – Los Angeles, CA – ZEN DOG, the directorial debut for writer/director Rick Darge, will make its world premiere at London’s prestigious Raindance Film Festival on September 25, 2016. Starring Kyle Gallner (American Sniper, The Outsiders) as Mud, a man trapped by a mundane existence, and Adam Herschman (Accepted, Hot Tub Time Machine 2) as his eccentric cousin, Dwayne. Guided by the philosophy of the late Alan Watts, Dwayne teaches Mud the beauty of lucid dreaming, creating a world where the possibilities of what could be, is, and helping Mud find happiness and the freedom from everyday life we all strive for. Also starring Clea DuVall (Argo, American Horror Story, Carnival), and newcomer, Celia Diane.
The 24th Raindance Film Festival will take place from the 21st September – 2nd October 2016 in Central London (Piccadilly Circus), screening 100 feature films and over 150 short films. Raindance showcases features, shorts and music videos by filmmakers from the UK and around the world, celebrating and supporting independent, new and alternative filmmakers. ZEN DOG will premiere Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 15:00. A second screening of the film will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:45.

Future Park is a premiere production company founded in 2012, operating out of Hollywood, California. The company has worked with the likes of Adult Swim, ConancoTV, Warner Horizon and many others, developing works for both the underground and mainstream television. ZEN DOG will be Future Park’s first feature film release.
