Dark Naga Adventures Launches Kickstarter Campaign To Fund New Table Top Adventure: The Buried Zikurat
Dark Naga Adventures, has officially launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for The Buried Zikurat, a table top role playing adventure for three to seven characters between levels six and eight.
August 24, 2016 ( datsyn.com) – Memphis, TN – The Buried Zikurat is designed for use with the Fifth Edition fantasy role-playing game, but is adaptable to any fantasy Role Playing Game.
“The clay mining operation at Caford has discovered a large step pyramid, or zikurat, an imposing structure buried completely in the clay sheet that had been mined for decades to make brick and other ceramic products. Local miners see what they think is an obvious entrance, but are unable get past the slab of stone. A call for aid is sent to the capital city of Meawold, and the party is sent to investigate. What lies within? Is it a threat to Caford, or the Kingdom of Meawold as a whole? If they can get inside, the party will have to navigate millennia old magic locks and security sentinels to find answers to these questions and more within The Buried Zikurat.”
The unique premise underscores the adventure that is ‘The Buried Zikurat’. It is the second adventure for commercial release by Dark Naga Adventures, with additional adventures in the works, including three more sequels to complete the Company’s Haunting of Hastur series.
“We strive to create and publish adventures that are a combination of the classic sandbox adventures of the early days of the hobby combined with modern features. Said project creator and company founder Kevin Watson. “As a young company, I am very motivated to produce a great product and to leverage everything I have learned from participating in a number of Kickstarter campaigns, to reproduce the great aspects and mitigate the undesirable aspects.”
The role playing adventure comes with the Digital Book of Lore, which contains player handouts of the notes, letters and journal entries found in the zikurat, as well as a Digital Book of Puzzles, containing 48 puzzles at four levels of difficulty.

All Backers of The Buried Zikurat Kickstarter campaign will receive Rewards ranging from a digital copy of the adventure, The Buried Zikurat, in PDF form suitable for printing and viewing on all digital media devices. for a pledge $10 or more, to receiving a physical and a digital copy of the adventure, The Buried Zikurat and an archival 8 1/2″ x 11″ print of the cover (or any other piece of art from this project the Backer selects) for a pledge of $40 or more. Additional Rewards are available at higher pledge levels.

‘The Buried Zikurat’ is a Saddle-Stitched 32+ page adventure. It features a detached color cover with color maps on the interior. There are 8 full color maps and an anticipated 4 pages of black and white art (expandable if the Kickstarter campaign reaches its stretch goals)
